Hotdog, topped with caramelised apples

Melt the butter in a frying pan, then add the diced apple and brown sugar. Allow 5 minutes for the apples to simmer and turn golden brown. Next, heat up a ribbed grill pan and cook the sausages through. Slice open the hotdog buns and spread some ketchup on each, then add the sausages and top off with some caramelised apple, thinly sliced gerkins and fried onions.

1 apple, diced
15g of sugar
15g of brown sugar
4 tablespoons of ketchup
4 hotdog buns
200g gerkins
4 tablespoons of fried onions
